University Plaza, Administration Building, Conference Center and Academic Walk
What better place to start than at UC Merced’s new “front door.” University Plaza was part of the final phase of the four-year Merced 2020 construction project, which nearly doubled the campus’s size. A palm-lined walk leads to the new Administration Building, which houses the Student First Center, a one-stop shop for assistance with financial aid, admissions and registration. The new Conference Center will be the centerpiece for campus and community events. To the east, UC Merced’s newest residence halls – Sentinel Rock, Glacier Point and Granite Pass – frame the Academic Walk.
