To your right is the office of Transportation and Parking Services – TAPS for short. The university provides safe and reliable parking, along with transit service, for students, faculty, staff and visitors. TAPS manages campus parking permits and runs its own bus system, CatTracks, which offers daily service between the campus and the Merced community. Next to TAPS is the campus Police Department, which patrols the university and operates a 24-hour dispatch to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff.
